I conceived this Cha Cha a long time ago. I fiddled with the melodies and rhythm over time. But when I truly committed to getting this down on audio and subsequent video I found many holes in my phrasings. I am proud of this guitar piece and will get this down on paper and pdf in the future.
I used Adobes AI firefly and Second Life to generate the imagery in the animations. The musical accompaniment was produced with my MPK mini keyboard and subsequent MPC Beats.
The cha-cha-cha (also called cha-cha) is a dance of Cuban origin.[1][2] It is danced to cha-cha-cha music introduced by the Cuban composer and violinist Enrique Jorrin in the early 1950s. This rhythm was developed from the danzón-mambo. The name of the dance is an onomatopoeia derived from the shuffling sound of the dancers' feet when they dance two consecutive quick steps that characterize the dance.[3]
